Yesterday I worked on a few projects. In the powder room, I have these black and white stripes. First, I painted the frames black but you kind of lost them. So I painted the frames and the mirror a nice bright silver. I think that I like it. Of course, I need photos of red flowers. I just had more yellow ones and went with that at first. What do you think?
My next project was inspired from Designed to Sell. That is such a cool show. $2000 to get a home ready for sale. I don't always like how they redo kitchens on such a budget, but I do like what they do in a lot of the other rooms. 
Instead of changing out the mantle, they painted it. Here I am, primed and ready to go.
Finished! Well, I do need to go and touch up some of the corners as the tape took a bit off. I was painting over oil base paint, so I probably should have let the primer set longer than I did. I just couldn't help myself!!!
Today, we get Bailey for the weekend. Should be fun~
Well, I should start making the pizza dough for dinner!
