The neighborhood garage sale was today. It was less than stellar, shall we say? H & I went hiking to see what we could find. I figured that if I could find some window hardware, it would be considered a big SCORE on my part. Not so much. We walked well over a mile and saw less than 20 sales and most were pretty lame. So no SCORE for me. Oh well
L&P, our next door neighbors are wonderful. We had mentioned to them that we wanted to chop down some of the bush at the end of the driveway. Our two bushes have grown together so it was nice that they were on board with our idea. So, while their garage sale was going on, we all started chopping!

As you can tell, the bushes are taller than H is. It was darn near impossible to see anyone on the sidewalk or another car coming when we would pull out of the drive way. 
All 4 of us out chopping and moving branches. My car is there to tell if we had them cut low enough to improve vision!
Clean up is always a pain. I had to run to HD to pick up some yard twine to bundle them up. We have city garbage and they are wonderful. We just bundle them and they take them. You can put out 10 of the big bags and they take them. Recycle is every week...I just wish that they would come on Tues or Wed instead of Fridays...but I won't complain too much that we have to wait til next week to get rid of all of it!
The finished project! Everything this is all bundled & there is a big gaping hole in the middle, but that will all fill in....I hope!
