Happy Easter!

It is always a crazy day around here with crazy dogs! I've been trying to get a video of the mayhem and while this isn't the best, it will have to do for now. Don't mind the messy couch.

Yesterday afternoon, we headed downtown to go to the last hockey game for our season here. (no, the ATL Thrashers are not a play off contender)
We were having fun in the Taco Mac...don't laugh at the name...it is a great sports bar with a wonderful menu. And we lucked out and had Nicole serving us. And you could tell that she loved her job! SO we decided not to go into the game when she told us that we could get the tv in front of us to have the game on. So, after the first period, we gave our tickets to a guy and his son who were just hanging out having some dinner. Turns out that they are from Sioux City, IA. (an hr from SF!) They had gone to the Braves game the night before and had been out to the Master's. So they got in a good part of an NHL game too! And...there were about 5 goals scored when they were in there! The boy's face was priceless, he was so excited!

Then, on the train home, we had to make a transfer and happened to follow the same lady from one train to the next. We commented and we got to talking. She was coming from the airport and her paster was supposed to pick her up. But he was having a class at the church and forgot all about it. After the last stop, she would have to figure out a way to get home on the bus system that she wasn't totally familiar with. So we offered and she accepted a ride home. She was such a lovely lady. Teaches at a local college that is now busting at the seams with an influx of students.

Well, that was our feel good Saturday. Definitely beats not getting stuff done around here like I had wanted.

Off to a dog park and maybe take a nap watching the Master's! Oh, and have some great food!

Happy Easter.
