We went to the Thrasher's game last night. It was fun. We drove to the train and took it into town. Very easy to do as the train has a stop just for the Arena and some other downtown attractions.
Do you think that this is a Daktronic's board? I'm not thinking so as it wasn't set up very well. You couldn't look at it and find all the info of the game....you had to look at the "end zone" board to get shots on goal and a few other stats. They should have invested in Daktronics.
See, we were really there! H in his striking Thrasher's jersey. Me, just trying to stay warm. It seemed much colder than a Wild game."WE" were playing the Detroit Redwings. As it was the only Atlanta game all season, over 1/2 of the arena were Redwing fans! It was pretty amazing. I guess that they don't sell out their games very often so it was good that the "enemy" fans showed up!
This is a Thrasher. They have 2 of them hanging from the ceiling. When something good happens, fire comes shooting out of the beak. It was kind of impressive!

Another reason that I know that it is not a Daktronics board....the home team is on the LEFT!! What the heck! We would have made a better game of it if Detroit had not scored those last 3 goals....
