Stuff is happenin'!

On Friday, Geoff and Chris delivered most of the supplies to make our new roof over the patio.  With the unpredictable weather, it got covered up to keep it dry.
On Sunday, the windows for the kitchen were delivered!!!
I have photos, but it must be on the other disc...sorry.  I'll try to show those later.
Take a good look....this is going to be DIFFERENT by Friday!
See, already does!  Kellen was busy taking up the sod.  Had to move the cable wire and dig a partial trench so that we can move hoses and wires under the new walkway.
Geoff was going to work outside but he didn't want to get into the exterior wall with rain predicted for tomorrow.  So he finished the pantry header and put in the new pocket door frame.
 Don't miss Geoff's helper below....yep...The Khakster!!
The boys had a spa day so they look all nice and smell even better.  And they were away from the nail gun.  Cozmo doesn't like it.
Can't say that I blame him, but he's becoming a scardy cat by it.  So time away from it is good.
Khak, on the other hand, doesn't like the noise, but if he had a thumb, he'd be in there helping!
The refrigerator will be in the hole in the wall (2 photos up from this) and we need to run water from the powder room to it so that we do not have to go under the flooring.  So we go behind the pedestal sink and find an extra valve.  It took us about 20 minutes to find out that it is the off valve for the front exterior valve!
Kind of strange, but we can make it work.  Since we took out some drywall, we will replace the nasty pedestal sink....even if you like them, this isn't a good one.  It would be nice to find one that we don't have to replace the drywall...just put the cabinet over the top!
Of course, the ones that I like....outta the budget!
May have to make one....but need tools...
First, the jailhouse wallpaper needs to go.  (black and white stripes..4 walls...floor to ceiling!)
I've resisted taking it down to this point as it was a project that would just keep going....sink, flooring, toilet...etc...
you know how it goes...
The beauty of remodels.
