Saturday....

Well, today was getting ready to have the Melanders over for dinner.  We went to the garden and the farmer's market, then to Publix to get some awesome porterhouse steaks.

Came home and cleaned up the kitchen table and area.

H mowed the yard and sprayed for bugs outside.

Then we get the unfortunate news that Mo isn't feeling well. He has been battling the crud all week but felt better this am but had taken a dive during the afternoon.

So we just hung out.

Of course, the wild life in the yard has become an issue...again!

Digging and climbing on the compost pile of yard grass.  They get so focused that they can't come when called.  So H had to herd them up the hill to the door.  Where they proceeded to get locked in the house for a few hours to try to get them to forget that there were critters in the yard.

Forget....yeah, right.

Then I made some roasted tomato soup and some tabasco sauce.

Lots of tabasco sauce!

H insisted that I get in the photo....so here I am!

He said that the tabasco was good.....just a tad vinegary.  Hopefully it will meld.

But that is a lot of heat!
