I started painting around 9 and finished for the day around 5. I got a coat of paint on the ceiling and it seems a bit darker than I had intended. Not sure if I want to keep it. But I keep telling myself that it is a media room and it won't hurt if it is darker.
I also got a coat of paint on the upper part of the chair rail and a 3rd coat on the darker bottom.
After lunch tomorrow, I plan on giving the ceiling and walls a 2nd, and hopefully, last coat of paint. Then, either on Friday or Saturday, I will finish the trim, which is what most of the rest of the house is an off-white.
Wish me luck that I'll be able to keep my schedule!
Christine & I tried to Skype today. We had a nice conversation over the weekend, but today, we couldn't quite get it to work right. I think that I found that it was going to the wrong speaker on my end, but when I did the test originally, it made sound. Or maybe you can just wish for me to be able to learn to read lips overnight? We're going to try it again tomorrow and hopefully, it will work better.
