Halloween night.....

Seems like we didn't get a lot done today but that is ok.  Some ironing and laundry  and more veggies were put on the stove and into the crock pot; that's about it.

Around 530, we went about 7 houses down to the Annual Halloween Party.  Since we had never heard of it, we thought that it was the first year.  Come to find out, it was normally held just for families that had kids.  This year, new host and hostess...new rules!   And it seems like everyone LOVED it.  Everyone brought something to share and everything I tasted was so yummy.  Oh, and the weather was PERFECT!

We had fun outside with the trick or treaters.

 

 

 The dogs did famously...Khak got some pets and got to lick a few people.  One girl let him lick her hand for quite awhile so we think that she had eaten some candy and had some "leftovers" on her hand that he got to enjoy.....or it was just a different human that he got to taste?

It got a bit cooler so we were happy to have the fire pit going.

H figured that it should be easy to bring the tv out to have the Steeler game on while we sat out.  Worked like a dream!

We've moved in now.  Jarred up some awesome Free-Food Veggie Broth that I had on the stove all day.  H added more green tomatoes to the crock pot.  We have tomatillos and green tomatoes in there.  Not sure what we'll use them for but we had a plethora of both and needed to do something with them.

Now, H has gone back to bed and I'm soon to follow.
