I managed to sneak onto an earlier flight. Instead of 4pm, how about 10AM! They were really nice and it worked out perfectly. Had an interesting seat mate so we chatted the entire way home. I haven't done that for a long time.
Trains and Traffic went like clockwork and got to the Melanders mid afternoon. Hung out there for a bit.....banana/plum/pear cake was really good!
Made it home and filled water bowls and checked the gardens. Everything seems to be doing well. Sorted some of the mail and changed into shorts. Should walk the mutts before long. They immediately went right to the grass pile and started digging!
UGH!
Should start on some laundry and organizing my encroaching pile of papers on the counter....or maybe just get ready to watch DWTS tonight....
It is good to be home. Can't wait til H gets back~
