Well, we even lost the insulation! We are fortunate that it hasn't been below 45* last night nor will it go colder than that tonight. Our heavy R38 plastic did pretty good as the kitchen wasn't very cold this am. And now, it is keeping in some nice heat from the furnace.
Geoff and Chris had to pick up some LVL for the new header along with some more lumber this am so they got here around lunch time.
The rain and birds sound like they are right in the kitchen with you!
The Khakster had to be sequestered out of the kitchen cuz Geoff was taking out the fiberglass insulation and we didn't want him to "help" with that.
Geoff noticed that the wall was not anchored to the concrete slab that our house is on, so he is making sure that we will be tied down from here on in.
Getting ready to seal up for tonight. We have an extra support for the 2nd floor.
Well, H is up on a business call and I'm down here on the computer watching the news. The boys are at my feet. Probably should go heat up some leftovers...
