Yesterday, we got the drywall put up....yeah...no more headers showing! Looks different already!
Then, I remembered that I had to sign the wall!
Unfortunately, my date is off.
We ordered a skinny bookshelf to go next to the fridge so that it looks built in. Unfortunately, it didn't come the correct length. So we are on hold, hence, the wrong date on the above photo.
So, instead, Geoff and Chris pulled wires. He seems to get into the crazy maze that it is. That's good, cuz we're somewhat baffled by it.
We ran to Columbus, GA today so we could check out a car that his cousin found on line. That took about 2-1/2hrs down and then the same back.
When we got back this is what we found...
More installed cabinets! YEAH!
It is hard to tell that the tall bookshelf to the left in the photo above doesn't go to the back of the wall. It is braced there so that we can schedule the counter top measure. It will be replaced.
Here's the other side of that. The fridge is back in the old pantry hole. It will be pulled out and all of the upper cabinets will be placed all around to make it look built in.
Not sure what tomorrow will bring, other than picking up the flooring and talking to the designer to be able to fix the bookshelf. And get the tip out tray for the sink base that didn't come. Oops, just a few mistakes, but overall, this remodel is still going really well.
