We had a good week. On Tuesday, we went to dinner at our favorite Indian restaurant. Oh, we always over eat when we go! On Wed, we went to the driving range and shared a bucket of balls. From there, we went to a great spot for lunch called KOZMO! (of course, we'd like it there!)
After H finished all of his work calls, we made dinner together: pork soulvaki with Greek potatoes and marinaded tomato & cucumber salad...yyyyyuuuummmmm.....
H left on Thur to go to MI. I helped the PAL's group that came to our CG. Lots of young people; some were quite interested in gardening and in eating! They got to taste beans, cucumbers and celery! Many were interested in the different shapes of tomatoes and squash. Many of the onions have flowers on them and they found those interesting. We also gave them a crash course in composting. As always, you'll have a few teenagers who were too cool to be there, but overall, I was very impressed at the number that were very attentive and engaged.
Our friend, Denise, joined me on this little trek; she's worked in the school system in years past and also likes to garden. It was good to have an extra person there to help out. Afterward, we stopped at Publix and got some lunch to to eat at home with the puppy dogs. We enjoyed the patio for a few hours before she went home.
We are going to the neighbors again tomorrow night for dinner. It should be fun.
Take care and have a great weekend~
