.....it was a typical Monday at work. Mondays usually consist of being pulled in several directions and today was no different. Food N Fermentation emailed that they were having a wine tasting and dinner tonight so we signed up for that. had a very nice dinner and singled one wine out of about 20 that we wanted to bring home. So a free wine tasting ended up being more than a few hundred dollars worth......
We both got a lot done this weekend....I did some shopping on Saturday & then worked on laundry & ironing & Harlan got a new motion detector for the laundry room & worked outside cutting up firewood & cleaning up the back yard. The chili that I made this weekend was "burn your face off hot" but still quite yummy! Harlan's mashed taters were the perfect complementto go with my chili along with some cottage cheese instead of sour cream.....yum!
Well, I should get ready for bed & clean up a few things as Doris, the cleaning lady, comes tomorrow to clean up the place for us......we love Doris.....& the Khakster ADORES her!
