Last Friday, I took H to the office as he was having meetings all week. Then I picked him back up and we scooted to the airport to catch a flight to MSP. We landed just before 6pm and made our way to Waconia for Arnie's surprise 50th party!
We got there with plenty of time to say hello to a bunch of people who were there.
And Sandy did well.....she had Arnie speechless!
And that is hard to do!
The party broke up around 1 and then a few of us headed over to their house. It was almost 3am by the time we made it back to the hotel.
Boy was I beat!
Woke by 830am and went to have breakfast. Then off to have lunch with W&E. We managed to take them to Applebee's so that was a nice change for them and for us.
Then back to the cabin to catch a snooze, which we both sorely needed, then off to the Cheese Cave to catch up with Cook, Rog, P&T, Chris and Ruth & Alan!
That was fun, as always.
Then P&T & C&R joined us over at Joe's bar to watch the end of the race and cause problems with the bartender! (no worries.....she's a good sort and has a great laugh!)
Then back to the cabin for a nice night's sleep....got to the airport early to catch some breakfast...knocked my knee really well on the table there....nice bruise...but I can still walk...then home to get the boys. Ah, it is good to be home.
Did some gardening and then showered so that we can join Sen &Jim for dinner in a few hours.
Whew!
