Monday was some gardening and then dinner with Sen and Jim. H & I discovered a fun spot for lunch and it has become the dinner spot for a few of us! As always, it is fun to spend time w/ S&J. Tuesday was a kids tour of Bulloch Hall. We had approx. 150 first graders come. I had about 22 of them and we had different stations to go to. So there were toys that the Bulloch children may have played with. And Pam showed how they cooked and grew items to use/cook, such as the gourds that could become bowls or spoons or corn that was grown to be eaten but dolls were made out of the husks or the husks filled mattresses or became "rags" to clean the floor, etc. There was candle dipping and basket making and I did the tour of the children's museum and of the house. They were a pretty good group.
Wednesday was lunch with H after some errands and yard work.
Thursday was back at Bulloch and then lunch with my girlfriend.
Friday was a trip to the Home Depot. I got some spray paint and plants and light bulbs and that kind of stuff. It was a nice evening to have pizza on the patio.
And today was a quick trip to the garden then on to the farmer's market, then 2 different nurseries and then off to Super H Mart with Sen for some lunch and groceries. Came home and watered the front and back and now I'm relaxing.
Guess my day tomorrow will be spent planting all of my new plants and spray painting some pots and shelving that we have wired together to keep rabbits out of our crops!
Well, off to enjoy some ice water on the patio!
