Have had a fun weekend so far. Friday night we gallantly fought traffic to make it to the Suwanee Lighting of the Caboose. I had gone last year and so we managed to make it there again. L was singing in the last elementary chorus to perform. So we got to see Santa and the lighting.
Then to the Swain's for some gabbing and laughs.
Then the Melanders met us on Sat. am to go to the Christmas Farmer's Mkt. It was the one and only off season market that they'll have between October and when they start back up again in April or May or whenever. Instead of produce, it was a lot of small business selling stuff for Christmas gifts. Quite fun.
Then we headed home to get some chores done before heading out to the Melanders for dinner and football games.
At the Mkt, H & Marlin found a cheese importer and got lots. We had a beautiful cheese platter and some shrimp and homemade bread and some Japanese treats. We really didn't need dinner once it was done. But it was so good that we didn't leave much for leftovers!
The boys got to play with Chuck:
Today was walk, and putting up wreaths outside and football games. Maybe some laundry and ironing in there too.
