Damn its cold!
Luckily, not a lot of wind so little windchill....but we got about 6-8" of snow on Sunday!
Oh, but I digress.....
Took us about 17hrs to get here....arrived around 2am local on Saturday and took about an hour to unload and get settled in. H got up early with the dogs and I slept a bit later.
DV got here from SF around lunch time. She brought Joe and Elle.
It was hard to get any photos that weren't a blur, but it went so much better than any of us expected. Due to the cold, we weren't able to take our walks. So a lot of sleeping got done and a little mayhem ensued.
We had to move the vehicles so that the neighbor could come and plow. First, DV's car had to be cleaned....boy, was it snowing!
How can you not love this face?
Khaki & Elle did a lot of playing....roughly...
Coz and Elle took a little nap.
We escaped to have some lunch. Elle had to be kenneled, which she isn't used to. We believe that she did really well....of course, the 3 treat balls that she got probably didn't hurt.
DV left us after lunch today. She made it back home safe and sound and said that the roads were ok. Not great, but ok. H went back to getting some work done and I ran to Cabelas. Had to get a new size of flannel lined jeans. H also needed some thermals as he had forgotten his at home. Then I did some computer work and then we made up some cheese and crackers up for dinner. Chris came over and now we are just relaxing while the dogs are lounging at our feet.
