talk about withdrawl.....

My computer is normally on the counter and the first thing I do when I come to the kitchen is turn on the coffee pot (if H isn't here) and then go and turn on my computer.  Then I check it an uncountable amount of times during the day.

Yeah.

Not so much.

It is still at the shop and I haven't heard anything from them.  Hopefully tomorrow.  that would be DAY 3.  (of 2-3 days)

Nothing much going on.  Planning our trek to Chukkar Farms Concert tomorrow night with the Melanders.  http://www.jamescasto.com/music.html   It is so neat.....you take your dinner/drinks and get there early and enjoy/imbibe and listen to music til 930pm. We absolutely loved it when we went over Labor Day weekend with D&D so we are going tomorrow night for H's birthday. We are taking white chili, cheese/ham with crackers, and phyllo-smoked salmon thingys; The Melanders are bringing puff pastry-spinach thingys and pinwheels.....YUM!

(yeah...."thingys" are a technical term....ask any woman....and they are normally WONDERFUL or are little bits of metal that are hard to move to where you want/need them!  I'm just sayin'.....)

Our weather has cooled significantly....in the mid-70's.  It has been cool enough for a jacket in the am.  I have to admit that, while everyone else likes it, I dislike not knowing how to dress every am.....humidity or no humidity really affects what 65degrees feels like!  (sorry I complained during our 95+ days of 90+ weather!)  I am starting to gather jackets and sweaters on every chair.  But the dogs have really picked up their pace when we walk....until the RUNT tires out and decides he wants to stroll and sniff his way home.  BBZZzzzzzzz~~~ NOT ALLOWED....we're WALKING.....

And it has been nice walking with B on our power walks.  We've managed to find time every day this week.  Tomorrow will be a day off as I have lunch with the gals and she has the refrigerator fix it guy coming in the am when we were scheduled to walk.

I probably should go and watch THREE AMIGO'S with H;  I hear him giggling now and again....
