Mom's Day weekend....

We went exploring yesterday. We've heard about the SUPER H MART grocery store and had to check it out. It was AWESOME!! It definitely is an Asian Market with just about anything that you would like! Great looking seafood counter, frozen meat section with just about everything from tongue to rabbit to lamb to black chicken! Spices galore, wow! It was pretty spiffy...and HUGE! It was bigger than the Publix and maybe as big as the Kroger. We're sold! We wandered back and forth a few times...it made going to the grocery fun again! The fridge section of prepared foods...soups, steamed seaweed...all kinds of things!
The green leafy section of the produce went WAY beyond the guys on the right! Green stuff that we had NEVER heard of or had seen before was there! On the top shelf is containers of cleaned garlic and minced garlic!
On the top middle of the photo is the end of the leafy green section! The colors was so pretty and the lady at the service center told me that I couldn't take pictures. Oops, too late.
The nice part was that their prices are definitely more competitive than the other stores that we go to. We got quite a bit of stuff for under $90! The Super H Mart is farther away from the house, but worth a trip to now and again!
What a beautiful day and evening! After H mowed the lawn we settled in for a pork chop, sweet tater and tomato slices and to watch Nascar on the deck! Didn't even put on the deck heater!
Today, we went to the Community garden and to the dog park. Khaki loved it, Cozmo, well, not quite as much as last time. There wasn't a cute little girl throwing the tennis ball today. But they got lots of sniffing in and fairly wore out. But they still got a walk to the park in after dinner! spoiled, I know.

Dinner was a grilled chicken with some couscous with red peppers, onions & mushrooms with plum wedges on the side....T'wasn't too bad. T'was too bad you weren't here to share.
Happy Mother's Day!
