Little Christmas

We went to MN for the weekend. I didn't take any lunches during the week so that I could leave early on Friday. We got to P&T's for pizza around 630-7. It was the Utah Planning Party. It was a great time. Khaki loved playing with Chip and was tentative around Paris. He kept looking for the cats that he remembered being there from his last visit.

Saturday, the dog accompanied us to visit a few people. We stopped by Gig's and he wasn't there. Stopped by to see Anna Mae & Doug, but only George was there. We had a very nice visit with him. George has a full sized stuffed white tail deer. The Khakster was pretty damn funny with it....sniffing it at first...then he realized that he was supposed to "hunt" him....so he barked and did a few "scared dog" maneuvers.....too funny! H & I made it up to Coastal Seafood. We did our stock up for the next few months of fish. Oh we got some good stuff! Catfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Opah, a red trout, shrimp and a few others...yummy stuff!

Then we stopped by at the cabin, walked the dog out on the extended back yard...the frozen lake! We walked to the point and back. The Khakster had a grand time! Then we stopped by Cookie & Roger's for a drink of wine before going out with them to the Millerburg's Store for dinner. It was a wonderful evening.

This morning we went to the Knights of Columbus for a benefit breakfast for Gina's work. She does wonderful things at Ruth's House. It is a women's shelter and, unfortunately, it sounds like they are full. H's parents and P&T joined us along with E&G. Of course, all of the kids were there too. Then we went to E&G's house for Little Christmas. They have worked very hard on their house and it looked so very nice. Their tree was beautiful & they had some yummy desserts. We got 2 very nice bottles of wine and some fancy soaps with homemade wash cloth & scrubby! We got on the road around 3 and made it back to Sioux Falls after 6. Salad & wine later..... I'm ready for a hot shower & bed!
I hope that your weekend was filled with love and good friends too!
