Well, we finally got approval from our HOA to do some outdoor landscaping and to change the exterior part of the windows and to put an overhang over our patio! All cuz we want to redo our kitchen! YIKES! We've been working a bit on this for a few months, but think that we've finally are moving in the correct direction.
Geoff came over last night so that we can establish how much we can change the windows. So drywall was removed so that we could find the plumbing and electrical and to check out the headers. Whew!
For once, we have something going our way when it comes to a remodel:
a 3" drain!!!! And it is located just where we need it!!!!
YEAH!!!!

Why, you ask??
Cuz we are moving the sink and won't have to move the drain!!!!
No concrete work!!!
We will get started the week before Christmas so that H & I can do some work over the holidays and Geoff will be back in Jan to really get into the swing of it.....literally! And Peter will be here in early Jan as well to do the side yard....
YEAH!!!
(Both Peter and Geoff aren't put off by overly helpful mutts....so we know that we found the right men!)
