As usual, when H is home, he normally gets more done than me on the weekends. A month or so ago, B, whom I walk with, had some landscaping done and they had some extra blocks that they were going to have taken away. She asked around the neighborhood to see if anyone could use them and H said YES! His plan is to fill in some dirt around the Bradford Pear tree as the roots are starting to show. So he got started on that project. Of course, he had to make a few trips to get all of his supplies.....
And he not only had helpers, he had a supervisor!
Progress being made. I am hoping that we can cover up the quick-crete with dirt at some point.

All done and with 3 blocks to spare! How great is that?? We will slowly fill behind the wall with clay from the garden by the grills and on the side of the garage. We want to make those more vegetable gardens so we will need to amend the soil a lot. Now we have a place to put what we dig out.
On Sunday, we had another beautiful day. The dogs didn't need trimmed so we decided to bathe them here and save some money. (it IS frugal month, you know!) They were quite doggy smelling. Cozmo has never done well for me in the tub so neither of us knew what to expect.
He did VERY well.
Of course, Khak did as well. He doesn't like it, but I held his halti collar and he listened very well. Treats always give them good incentive to behave!

The next floor covering will have to be a different color....Khaki almost gets lost in the floor!
Or maybe he's just a walking carpet!
Dinner tonight at The Longhorn with the Kasbakers and Melanders. Unfortunately, the men of their households aren't in town so it will be H and the Kasbaker boys hangin' out with all of us girls.
