What a great weekend! We headed to MN on Friday after work to go to my football pool party in Minnetonka on Saturday night. We had breakfast at the Steer with Chris & Cook & Rog. Then we headed to P&T's to try our new snow shoes in the Arboritum! That was fun! We walked over 2 miles and when we were walking, we managed a gait of 2.5mph. We visited for awhile and they offered to keep a big furry, stinky mutt for us.
So our baby had his first sleep over!!! Not only did he get to chase cats and play with Paris & Chip, but he also became......UNSTINKY!!!! Claire gave him a bath! And we heard that he did famously for his spa treatment! Now he smells of lavender & lilacs! We almost have a new dog!
We headed there this morning to pick him up & had brunch. That was yummy & then we had what seemed like an very long drive home. It really wasn't, but that wonderful brunch must have made us both a little sleepy....
It has been over freezing for over 24 hrs, so the snow has been melting quickly. We still have more in the city of Sioux Falls than anywhere that we've seen today. As much as I would like to see it go, it probably would be better to keep what we have and just cover it with some more. A cooler winter will keep some of the bugs away this coming summer......
