Seems like we are just going from one thing to the next around here. H was gone on Thur and Fri and his plane got diverted on Friday night so he didn't pull into the driveway until 5am Saturday! Talk about a crazy night. I had left the light on for him (no, we're not motel 6) and when I would turn over, I checked for msgs from him. Got a few so had to respond.
On Friday, the washer suddenly quit working and gave a code that wasn't in the manual. F-35, to be exact. So I called Whirlpool and set up a fix it date of today (Monday) Saturday afternoon, H asked me if I had called HHGregg (the store) to use the extended warranty. No. So had to call them this am and set up their service call, which canceled the first one, so we're on for Wed afternoon now. Oh well.
So Saturday was a bust as you can guess. H took a big long nap and I took some bok choy from our community garden up to the neighbors. Sat on their new porch and chatted for about an hour or so. Then stopped by Peggy's across the street as they are taking out some of their big holly bushes to put in a patio....that should be nice.
Then it was just relaxing the rest of the evening with H and the boys.
Sunday was getting a few chores done and then heading over to the Melander's for dinner. We hung out there til about 830 or so. Was a great time. H & MoE both love to grill, so we always have more protein than we ever could eat and, oh, it was just all so good!
Today was work and we had Sangeeta and her boys over for dinner. They are moving to MI this week so, with the movers packing everything up and all at their house, we figured that we'd offer a restaurant alternative. We enjoyed their company and will miss them when they leave.
Other than that, nothing much else is going on....have some little stuff here and there to do this week and weekend, but nothing huge planned. It has reached 90 already and we need rain. T'is hot and we're slowing down.....
