What a week!
Last weekend, we were both kind of slugs.....it was rainy and cold. We managed to go to another nursery with the Melanders on Saturday, but after that, it was a pot of chili in the crockpot and walks to the park between the drops!
Worked on Monday and did some cleaning of the keeping room on Tuesday. That felt good to get done....computer work on Wed. Then the fridge was taking a dive on Wed, so we unloaded the freezer to defrost it and then realized that it wasn't shutting off! And it wasn't cooling. Ugh.
So yesterday, we emptied it out....good thing we've been 'Using It Up' lately so that we had room in the garage fridge and some extra space in the beverage fridge.
So last night and this am, I spent time on the computer checking out the best ones and then comparing prices around town.
Ended up getting a larger than we need, french door, ice/water on the door Samsung. It was one of the best brands and we got a HUGE savings on it cuz that particular one was a scratch and dent! Free delivery and free removal....on Monday! The salesman was surprised that we didn't want delivery on Sunday, but we believe that everyone should be off on Sundays, if possible....guess it was how we grew up...
And we really can get by just fine for an extra day.
Well, that is about all here....it is supposed to be really nice this weekend. Cold and rainy this past week, so we are looking forward to getting some gardening done and seeing some sunshine. Hope that FL has dried out and there won't be any flooding in ND, SD, or MN!
