well, it has been a busy week and long weekend. I won't be able to catch ya'll up as I am pickling some cucumbers and dinner has yet to be made....it is 815pm....
i hadn't planned on making any pickles, but i stumbled upon a recipe that i made some fridge pickles with that we both LOVED!
Claire was here last week and we had some fun. we did somethings that she had never done before like a makeover at the mall and golf lessons from Mike and goodness, I can't remember all what else! I'll post photos when I can.
on Saturday, we went with friends in their plane to Bayfield, WI. It is east of Duluth, MN and the Apostle Islands are just a ferry ride away. We took a ferry, played some golf & went to see Greg Brown again. The weather was just beautiful!
We came home to needy dogs. Cozmo had a run in with Joe last week and we don't think he has quite recovered. He has been pretty mellow and his eyes and demeanor seem meeker. He's still a pistol, so his spirit has not been broken....but he learned a life lesson that seems to be sticking!
well, I had better get back to dinner.....
