It turned out to be a very nice weekend. The weather was kinda crappy but the rest was fun.
I was able to leave work early on Friday and we made it to the XCel Center in St Paul for the 2nd game of the Wild NHL play off game. Our friends from Watertown weren't able to make it because the roads were so bad from ANOTHER winter storm that we had to improvise & had Bruce & Aaron join us.....quite fun! It was quite an exciting game...and we won in OT!!
We made it home quite late and then met P&T & Allan for breaky. Khaki was playing with Chip & Paris on Fri. night so P&T brought him home. Then we all went to Coastal Seafood in St Paul for some wonderful fish to bring home. (SF doesn't have much for fish in the grocery stores...) P&T were flying solo as C had an out of town concert. So they joined us & we ended up getting enough seafood for dinner. We all ended up at P&T's and gorged ourselves on wine & seafood. H made some wonderful sauce to put over the seafood & pasta....yummy!
After a bit more wine than we should have had, we just sacked out in Claire's bed & trundle. We forgot to close the door so the dogs kept coming in to check up on us! I don't think that either of us slept very much, but that is ok as we both felt fine all day.
We made it home around 230, which was very nice. I started in making pita bread & H took a nap. We're now reheating some gyro meat & h is grilling up jo-jo potatoes! Have more great wine that we are sipping...... ah, the work week will be here soon enough....
