A pretty productive day...

Got up and showered and walked the mutts.  Then we headed out to the garden,(harvested the leeks, some tomatoes and banana peppers) farmer's mkt (got some sweet potatoes and apples) and stopped for H to get his hair cut (I got to hold his sunglasses and hat.).

Then we headed home.

Weeded the front bed, cut down the falling calla lillies, harvested some okra, weeded the stones on the walkway.

Then I moved to the back yard: trimmed and harvested tomatoes, pulled out a few pepper plants and fennel, weeded and hoed the dirt.

Took a break.

Then went back and planted some seed:

mustard

arugula

romaine

bok choy

kale

spinach

Not a big area....just a part of the side retaining wall next to the grill.

I have space to plant some more seeds after we do a little more work to extend the bed all the way to the fence that faces the front yard.

H had to run to the Home Depot.  He had lots to look for.  He fixed the doorbell and put an electrical box outside on the side of the house.  He tapped into the plug that we plug the tv into.  Now we can have our little spotlights out front!

YEAH!

Now we are slowly working on dinner....wish you were here to enjoy it with us!
