A Christmas Story....revisited...

Yesterday, we "closed" our community garden up.  We pulled the edibles and what was still growing and then came home and planted our winter garden in the back yard.  Chances are that it will not grow, but we may get something out of it....and who else in the northern hemisphere can say that they've planted their garden on Chrismtas Eve??
Last night, we ate those  remenents: radish grees, beet "greens", leaf lettuce, radishes, the yummiest carrots that we'd ever tasted and a few teeny tiny beets!  And we watched A Christmas Story.  Ah, one of the best Christmas movies ever created!  The Scott Farkus affair is about the funniest, unless you consider Frraaa Wraaa Wraaa Wraaa, Wra  Raa Raa Raa Raa.
Well, today, after opening gifts and then walking the dogs and making breaky....we're watching A Christmas Story.......again!

Hope your Christmas is as wonderful!
