A few of the Williams made it to SF last night. They hung out here. That was the reason for my mad dash to clear out the 2nd guest room this weekend! I've been wanting to do so and this was the perfect reason. Of course, there was little advanced notice, but that is the way with funerals.
Yes, we had another funeral today. One on Saturday that I went to solo and this one today where I met H & the 4 of the Williams. I made it to work and got everything set up and then escaped for 2 hrs. I'm by no means an expert on funerals but it was very nice and the priest inserted some fun things that helped make everyone chuckle. I can only hope that I have a 1/4 of the attendees as Katie had. To be so loved and admired by so many..........
I do not have the ability to receive pictures on my cell phone, but I got one that I had to go online to see......it was of my Pop! Miss Claudia sent it to me. They are on their trip out to the west coast and it appears that they are having a blast. I just chatted with the both of them this evening and it appears that while they are extremely busy going from here to there, it is turning out to be a trip of a lifetime! I can only hope that my retirement is filled with love and travel!
Well, I had better go....it is 89 out and almost 7pm. The dogs will need to be hosed down before we go for our walk to the park & I believe that the corn on the cob is on the grill.....yum!
