It seems like it was a busy week. Only worked on Monday and then went exploring with S&J, looking for a tile back splash. I did some research on some flooring for our place. (ah, maybe one of these years we'll be able to afford some new stuff) Walked with B 3 days this week! Can you believe it? At least I wasn't sore at all. Let's see, H was home all week.....YEAH! Khak and Coz sure did get spoiled! (ya, so did I..!)
Yesterday, we met up with Dakneese and went to Northside Nursery. They are a great little spot. I do wish that they had more veggies and herbs, but they have lots of other great things and have fair
prices.
This morning, we headed up to the CG and got some work done.

We replaced the old snow fence supports for more aesthetically pleasing bamboo ones. We kept our wood trellising for our horizontal parts. We'll plant our peppers and tomatoes here.
Here is the bakers rack that will be the trellis for our cucumbers. We're using the shelves for 2 pots, which have scallions and flowers in them.
Our garlic is coming along quite nicely....need to get some nitrogen to them soon.
After finishing up there, we went home and worked in the back yard. We also planted some seeds out front and watered them and fertilized the garlic out there.
H is planting carrots in sand and then topped them off with worm poop. We are hoping to get lots of carrots!
We added soil to the beds and stirred it all up. We planted cabbage in the small bed at the bottom of this photo. In the back, we transplanted some beets that were growing in the same pot that is now the home for the carrots! H then put some fertilizer on the blueberries.
Tomorrow will be putting some plants around the mailbox. And planting a few more blueberries and maybe doing some house cleaning. Oh, I can't wait for things to really start growing!

Are you going to become a Master Gardner? You would be great at it. Sounds right up your alley.
