Apparently, I was not very clear in my last post. But before I clarify it please note that neither H nor I make a MAJOR change in our lives without letting our parents, siblings and quite a few of our dear friends know about it before it is posted on this blog.
1) WE ARE NOT MOVING! We are moving the FURNITURE. H's office is in the loft. We will move it to the spare bedroom. The furniture in there can't stay; the room is too small.
2) The dogs are FINE. They sometimes have "outbursts", aka: barking and making noise when H's is on the phone. When his is working in his office in the loft, their barking interrupts his business calls; hence, he is moving his office to the spare room so he can close the door.
3) You may remember that in SF, when we went to rotate the rug, it ended up in our moving EVERY piece of furniture on the first floor. Pardon my inference to that incident without directly stating that. When we move some of the furniture in the next few weeks to create H's new office, some of it will come downstairs. Therefore, we will need to measure the rooms so that we don't needlessly cart heavy furniture between floors.
4) Please let me reiterate...WE WILL NEVER INFORM OUR FAMILY THAT WE ARE CHANGING RESIDENCES VIA THIS BLOG.
