Our weekend was pretty busy....and fun. Laila is a ball of energy while being mostly contained! She is at the stage of testing her independence, so there were a few times when we all had to be a bit strict....like when she was on the stairs. They don't have stairs, so none of us were real comfortable, other than Laila! Pop and Claudia left Sunday morning. I met them at their hotel and visited while they enjoyed breakfast. Sounds like they had a good drive home.
Our Sunday was pretty laid back. We played with some bubbles....
While dinner was being prepared, Khaki was content to relax with his new favorite person (Laila) and her Mommy.
Then Ben kicked (not really) Khaki out and took over as the resident pillow!
And the chipmunk has had his new home discovered!
On Monday, we lounged and then had the neighbors over to have some dinner with us....then we were on our way to Stone Mountain to watch the laser show and fireworks. The one thing that we forgot about....they have the speakers too high...but other than that...the show was pretty amazing. The fireworks were very nice...but were a bit too loud for Miss Laila. That's ok....there is always next year.

They left Tuesday am and soon after they left, Geoff pulled in! He and Chris started on the prepping of the floors.
Wednesday, I had thought I would have free, but ended up working for Dr.Donna and then off to Bulloch Hall, so I missed most of the start of the actual flooring being laid down.
I'll share those photos tomorrow along with another project that I am working on....yes, the week got busy!
