The weekend is almost over.....

We went to MN this weekend. We had a great idea of getting a Papa Murphy's pizza to take with us on Friday. It was great, got up to the cabin & turned the oven on while we made a campfire! Had pizza & wine by the lake! The weather was so unbelievable for October....no breeze, sleeveless shirt....& I didn't even have to sit close to the fire! There was a thunderstorm north of us & I tried to get some shots of the lightening, but didn't have too much success....

We got up early on Saturday & took the big furry mutt for a bike ride. It was humid, but nice. It would eventually get into the high 80's. We had lunch w/ H's family. It was for the fall birthdays. It was good to see everyone. We then met up w/ Janet & Eric. We picked them up & made it to McGovern's in downtown St Paul for appetizers & drinks before going to the Wild game! Janet must be good luck as we won! It was a great game & as always, enjoyed J&E's company.

Today, we got up at a reasonable time & made it to the bike path again. We normally go about 3 miles round trip. I kind of think that Khaki could go farther, but we are hesitant to go too far as we are inconsistant w/ that kind of exercise. It wouldn't be fun to get far from the vehicle & have an 80lb dog not be able to get back! He usually is wearing down when we are done....but his recovery time is getting quicker & quicker!

Got home and watched the 2nd half of the Steeler game. The good guys won! Now, H is napping to the Nascar race! I've got mute on the NFL highlights & I should get some ironing done. When we left MN, it was in the mid 70's. By the time we got to SF, it was 53!!! yikes! Chilly!
