Now 2 weekends ago we went to STL for the 19th annual BB&B. I've gone to calling it the BBB&B as they seem to leave out the Beer or Booze and it really does flow freely....Joe & Mary live west of STL and were our lovely hosts. They live in a community with a fairly private lake so we went out on their boat with some friends of theirs.
What a lovely evening.
We were treated to wonderful ribs, beans and corn salad for dinner. H whipped up some eggs, bacon and hash browns for a filling breaky.
Their neighbor is the brew master at the Morgan Street Brewing Company. We got a private tour. You should have seen 6 guys just hanging on every word that he said......
The ball game was HOT! We were in full sun so we had to take breaks to go up to the concourse and get water, ice, beer and out of the sun!
Unfortunately, the Twins did not win this match up. Better luck next year!
Coming back from dinner, we spotted these beautiful glass flowers in a building. It appeared that the spot was hosting a wedding in a back room. The doorman allowed me in to get some pictures.Overall, it was a wonderful time, as always!
